The gym itself is very original in looks, not too over the top as a lot of the baby einstein gyms are, and also has a neat feature that causes the gym to move and play music. My big problem with it though is that the movement operates off of a circular track that moves in circles (obviously) to make the gym move. It gets stuck going around the track often though as the gym itself is kind of flimsy and doesn't stay in the same position enough for the track to have an easy path to move. I think they did this so that the movement would be more dramatic, but it doesn't take much for the items hanging from it to jangle, and it would have been much better working in the long run if they had just made it tighter.

I purchased this item because I loved the colors and the space theme, not realizing that the arches actually move-what a great feature! Most of my friends have the Einstein play mats and they all fell in love with this one mainly because the toys above actually move, which keeps my baby entertained for quite a long time!

I got this for my baby when he was probably 8 weeks. The movement and bright colors really motivated him to swat at the toys. He loves the movement and could just stare at it for a good while. He's 5 months old now, and still really loves it. I think it was a deal... for $56 you get a play gym with sound AND movement. But it's also really well made. I would give another one of these as a shower gift me and my baby love it so much. This is a win from every angle.

The space boy and girl are just darling! I didn't realize the bars had motion until I got it home, and boy it sure entertains my baby! The two songs are both pleasant and the toys spark her interest with their big eyes.
